Pre-Teen Pool Party
6:30 pm to 7:30 pm – Pizza and lesson
7:30 pm to 9 – 9:30 pm Swimming $3.10 Child $5.50 Adult, If the cost of swimming is an issue contact engageyouth@evangelfsj.com before the night of the event.
Since the new year we have been basing our lesson off of the greatest commandments, which is love God and Love your neighbour (Mat 22:35-50; Mark 12:28-31; Luk 10:25-28; Deu 6:4-5). We have been dissecting these three questions: How do we love God? How do we love others? How do we know God loves us? How do we know God Loves others?
If your child is between 8-12 years of age come and join us for this great night of fun and learning.

This is Love
Youth conference to help youth to understand love from three angles: the love God has for them, the love he desires for them, and the love He expects them to show others.
We will be going down with the Calvary Baptist Church. As you may see we will have plenty of time for fellowship and fun! We should be spending some time at the mall ; )
This adventure will be for those that want to stir their faith and build Godly friendships that will last a life time.
Cost:
Early Bird: $140
Travel & food: $ 60
Lodging 4 nights: $100
Total: $300
How to register:
1. Put payment or deposit of $140 into giving envelope
2. Clearly make envelope with your name and YC 2013 payment/deposit with capital letters.
3. Write the amount of money that is in the envelope

THE CAUSE
Youth conference in Chilliwack , BC on May 16-19
They will be placing a strong emphasis on empowering students to know who they are in Christ Jesus.
During our stay in Chilliwack we will venture over to Abbotsford to have a tour of summit Pacific Bible College.
This should be a great adventure and I recommend it to those who might be considering going to Bible College in the future.
Cost;
Early Bird registration: $90
Travel: $60
Lodging: $80
Total: $230 per person
Food not included
Space is limited
Deposits are acceptable and due by February 24 , 2013 at Evangel Chapel.

What: Random Acts of Kindness Race |
Where: Warriner's house 32423 267 Rd
When: 7:00pm to 10:00pm December 7, 2012
Who: Grades 7 to 12
What: Outside fun 7-8; Ginger bread build off and Pajama Jam 8-8:45; gift exchange; and The Santa Debate: is he good or bad.
Dessert Potluck: bring a (preferably) home baked dessert or goody to share with 20 people!
Gift Exchange: find a gift around the house that you think people would want! Wrap it up and bring it to the exchange!
Be a Blessing! Bring some gifts for the Salvation Army or the Women’s Resource Center - Money, canned goods, or toys.
Hot drinks and pop will be provided by Evangel
Games and a devo!
Dress in you semi formal PJ's : )

Emerge – Special ops is our new pre – teen program at Evangel Chapel. We are kicking-off Thursday October 11, 2012 at 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Emerge is for ages 8 -12. Fun, games, teaching, and just plain awesomeness! Check it out! Emerge events will take place the second and third Thursdays of each month.
City Wide Youth is where we tear down denominational walls and get together in the name of Jesus. Happening the last Friday of every month, these are events that you will not want to miss!
Our next event is happening at Alliance church on March 9, 2012 @ 6:30 pm It is put on by Mission Vision. We will be having a Savanger Hunt with in the Mission Vision booths.
